Had a great experience at Simply Fish in Costa Mesa. The mussels were excellent, and the white fish was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We went in an hour before closing time on a Saturday, no wait. The food is excellent, nothing is overly salted, the clam chowder in sourdough bread bowl was wonderful. The sampler plate with fries was a great way to start, everything fresh, no old-oil smell to it, the fish and chips were plentiful for the price. Live music was prefect for the atmosphere, service was wonderful! Will definitely come back.
Large selection of menu items and always good. Had dinner there many times. This visit ordered the lemon-butter bacon wrapped shrimp and scallops. Wife ordered the same except Cajun seasoned.
